01 Phase 01 // The Source

Raw Density.

It starts with American timber bamboo — properly aged and cured to lock in its dense cellular structure before it ever sees the fire.

This density is the secret. When carbonized, it creates a heavier, tighter fuel source that burns hotter and longer than anything you'll find at a hardware store.

02 Phase 02 // Carbonization

The Steel Kilns.

We subject the cured bamboo to extreme heat in an oxygen-starved environment. This bakes out the remaining volatile gases and sap that cause bad smoke.

What is left behind is pure, highly reactive carbon.

03 Phase 03 // Sorting & Grading

Precision Selection.

Raw bamboo is fed through industrial sorting machinery — vibrating plates separate and grade the material by density and size before anything goes near the kiln.

This step is what most charcoal brands skip. We don't. Every piece that goes in meets the same standard — that consistency is what makes BAM predictable in your grill every single cook.

Packaged.
Ready to Cook.

After carbonization the charcoal is sorted, inspected, and packed into a kraft inner bag inside the BAM box — preserving structure and density from kiln to grill.

No added moisture. No chemical treatment. What comes out of the kiln is exactly what goes into your box.
